Bill has an obsession with a location that he had visited as a youth. Based on this, I wrote the following poem...
ECHOES
Endlessly, she calls to him... He searches day and night. Seductively persuaded, To hold her in his sight.
Hauntingly, she beacons... A lighthouse for his storm. Inwardly he rages... Enough to keep her warm.
In darkness now, he hunts her, This phantom from the past. Obsession's taken over... He'll capture her, at last.
And when the two will finally meet, His years all spent in pain... Will vanish into nothing more, Than echoes of a stain.
